No Clever Title

Off day for running, but I am going to get a bike ride in with my kids and then do my push-ups and crunches.

Just for motivation and posterity, here are a few pics of me chronicling my fitness and 50 pound weight loss trek.

First, a couple from a few years ago when I was having joint problems, had high blood pressure and was most likely on my speedy way towards a heart attack...






Here, only three months after taking up running. Just after finishing a "gruelling" mile...



Here is one from last year's (2010) Monster Mash 5k in October. I was only a little over the half way point of loosing most of the lard.  I have slowly shed another 20 lbs since then.  If all goes well, I am going to run the 10k this year.


and here is a month ago (July, 2011) when I and my beautiful wife renewed our vows...


Fast Forward another year to November 2012 & another personal achievement... Warrior Dash!
