Still on the Mill

I'm still mostly using the gym to keep up some sort of running base, along with a consistent weight training routine. I'm sort of combining the two, turning my workouts into a kind of circuit mash up.

I will usually begin with a one to two mile warm up run, starting slow, and progressively cranking up the speed. Then I will immediately jump into the resistance training, cycling through various upper body and abdominal sets depending on the day. Once I am finished with that, I hop right back on the treadmill for one more mile at the fastest speed I can sprint it out.

By the time I am done I'm a sweaty mess, and I'm sure the older ladies that are usually there in the early morning think I am a freaking nutjob, watching me as they kick back on their recumbent bikes, reading & watching the news.

Oh yea, I'm still using Gym-Pact and to date I have made $6 for making my last 12 or so commitments. It isn't going to make me rich, but at least I can use it on new socks or something... I'm really enjoying being back in the gym =)
